Anca Olivia Pogacean (PhD), environmental engineer, with expertise on risk assessment studies, especially Industrial Hygiene studies. She received training and followed courses on Epidemiology, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Medicine, heavy metal exposure and its effects on humans and the environment and has also expertise in field work. Her main research interest is occupational security and risk assessment. She has been an active participant in the Demonstration of a study to coordinate and perform human biomonitoring on a European scale – DEMOCOPHES, between the years 2010-2012, and also in the Schools Indoor Pollution and Health: Observatory Network in Europe – SINPHONIE, under the coordination of the REGIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER for Central and Eastern Europe, 2010-2012.
